I had severe back pain for a long time, and no one really knew what to do. At the university hospital, they even told me that spinal fusion was my only option. That really scared me. Dr. Toplak finally took a closer look. He suggested PRP, my own blood injected into the intervertebral disc. Even after the first injection, I noticed an improvement—not much, but still. After the second, it got even better, and after the third, the pain was completely gone. I could hardly believe it. I'm so grateful that I didn't have the fusion. I came to Dr. Toplak in March. Before that, I had seen an orthopedist who didn't want to conduct a proper diagnosis, so the real problem wasn't uncovered.
