This is one of the highest professional distinctions, which to date has only been achieved by approximately 25 specialists in Germany in the field of spinal surgery. To receive this certificate, they must demonstrate the successful completion of a particularly large number of complex spinal surgeries.

Nucleoplasty (Removal of disc material in case of disc herniation via a cannula using radiofrequency energy)

Periradicular therapy (PRT) (Injection of pain-relieving, decongestant and anti-inflammatory medications under X-ray guidance via a thin cannula with millimeter precision directly at nerve roots)

Facet infiltration (Injection of painkillers directly into the small vertebral joints if pain occurs there due to osteoarthritis)

R

Thermocoagulation (Switching off pain-conducting nerve fibers at vertebrae and facet joints via a cannula using a thin heat probe)

R

RF neurotomy at the sacroiliac joint (Switching off pain-conducting nerve fibers at the sacroiliac joint in the pelvis using radiofrequency energy via a cannula and probe)
